Apple Pie raw apples on board

Yesterday was a busy apple-pie making day. Our tree out back was producing an awful lot of apples (though some were quite tiny as you can see there, that little one in the front is about the size of an apricot... not big at all!!) so I decided pies were in order.

Here are a bunch of cleaned, unsliced and uncored apples on the wooden cutting board, with a very nice knife.
